Bai Mudan, literally
"white peony" is a white tea that includes silvery buds and
green leaves. Bai Mu Dan style is often preferred by white tea drinkers
looking for fuller flavor and greater potency than a classic white tea,
which is made with undeveloped leaves, and is comparatively paler when
brewed. Great care and skill is used in the picking, gentle withering
and drying of this tea. Bai Mudan white tea has a very mild floral
aroma, a golden amber color and a flavor that is floral, toasty and
slightly astringent. This organically grown tea from Foojoy is USDA and
IMO Swiss Certified Organic

Gunpowder Green Pearls tea is
produced in Zhejiang Province of China and gets its name from the
appearance of the tealeaves, which are withered, steamed and rolled into
small pearl shaped balls and then dried. Although the individual leaves
were formerly rolled by hand, today most gunpowder tea is rolled by
machines. Rolling renders the leaves less susceptible to physical damage
and breakage and allows them to retain more of their flavor and aroma.
Know for its robust and hearty flavor, these Organic Gunpowder Green
Pearls have a less "smoky" character than standard gunpowder.
This tea is USDA and BCS Germany Certified Organic.

Lapsang
Souchang is distinct from other types of tea because lapsang leaves are
traditionally smoke-dried over pinewood fires, taking on a distinctive
smoky flavor. While second to green tea, black teas are still rich in
antioxidants and recent studies show black tea also displays many health
benefits. Foojoy Organic Lapsang Souchong is a black tea from the Wuyi
region of the Chinese province of Fujian.

The Westlake area near
Hangzhou in Zhejiang province is home to the famed Lung Ching,
“Dragonwell” tea. Young bud-and-leaf sets are dried in a hot wok
soon after picking to halt the oxidation process. Skillful workers press
the leaves against the side of the wok and turn them repeatedly until
they obtain the characteristically flat shape. When steeped, the tea
produces a yellow-green color and a slightly sweet, pure and rich
flavor. This organically grown tea from Foojoy is USDA and BCS Germany
Certified Organic.

Foojoy’s Summer Jasmine
Green tea combines organically grown green tealeaves and fresh jasmine
blossoms from the Jasminium sambac plant to make a truly aromatic brew.
During processing it takes four hours or so for the tea to absorb the
fragrance and flavor of the jasmine blossoms and for the highest grades,
this process may be repeated as many as seven times. Because the tea has
absorbed moisture from the flowers, it must be refired to prevent
spoilage. The spent flowers are removed from the final product, as the
flowers are completely dry and contain no aroma. This scented tea is
soothing with a delicate floral aroma. It is USDA and IMO Swiss
Certified Organic.

Foojoy Organic Shui Hsien,
“Water Sprite”, is an oolong tea from the area of Mount Wuyi near
the northern border of Fu Jian province. Shui Hsien oolongs are often
harvested from Camellia sinensis trees that are over 100 years old.
After harvest the leaves are skillfully twisted and roasted over a
charcoal fire. Cheaper varieties are grown elsewhere in Fujian and have
a more bitter taste and are very popular with Chinese restaurants. Shui
Hsien has a soft, roasted, straw-like taste with a nutty aroma. The
infused color is very dark brown showing that the tea is among the
darkest of the oolongs from Wuyi. This tea is USDA and IMO Swiss
Certified Organic.
