Red
Root helps relieve spasms and supports expectoration,
stimulates lymphatic cleansing and supports the
spleen. Red root is known to have an effect on
the lymph system. This effect is to help drain
the lymph glands, and increasing its ability to carry
waste tissue away from infected areas. Ceanothus
americanus has been shown to enhance transport of
nutrients from the blood across the capillary cells to
the lymph. Which in turn stimulates fluid drainage
from congested areas.
Swollen lymph nodes and
adenoids; sore throat, pharyngitis and tonsillitis;
mumps; mononucleosis; chronic torpor of stomach and
liver; swollen, congested liver. Excellent remedy for
enlarged, congested spleen. Clears catarrhal
conditions with excessive, thick secretions; chronic
bronchitis.
