Method of Use:

Damiana's botanical name should give a clue as to what this herb is used for (turnera aphrodisiaca): an Aphrodisiac. This sexual rejuvenator may  benefit both women and men. The leaves are a tonic to the nerves and a stimulant in sexual weakness. Damiana contains beta-sitosterol, a compound that could have some stimulant effect on the sexual apparatus or could help build sexual health and reproductively.

Damiana stimulates muscular contractions of the intestinal tract, which makes this herb a gentle laxative.
