Going Green, just a few simple steps can have
big savings. All of our computers here at
1stChineseHerbs.com and our sister store DiscountNaturalHerbs.com
have two monitors. When the representative, staff, and
warehouse leave their stations, the monitors are manually turned
off. The printers are on energy savings, which means after
non use of 20 minutes or more they turn themselves
off. We no longer use single bottled water, we have
installed a purifier on the kitchen sink faucet. All boxes and
packing materials are either reused or recycled. We recycle all
old computers, monitors, cell phones, and PDA's. We
recycle our tea leaves, and coffee grounds into the compost pile.
Our most recycled herbal tea is Wu Long, which is great for the
compost heap.
