HOW TO AVOID THE FLU.
 |
First and most
important: wash your hands
Use soap and water. To insure you
have washed your hands completely, get a lather going with
soap, while you sing, Mary had a little lamb.
This should take about 15 seconds, which is about the same
time needed to wash your hands thoroughly. If you
can't sing...hum. |
 |
Try to stay in
good general health, and eat nutritious food.
Have an assortment of fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, and
fish.
Immune
boosting herbs, and supplements. |
 |
Get plenty of
sleep, be physically active, manage your stress. Sleep
like a baby and wake up refreshed in the morning.
|
 |
Drink plenty of
fluids. Not alcohol, but fluids which help to hydrate
the body. |
 |
Try not to touch
surfaces that may be contaminated with the flu virus.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
Tending to the sick is going to be the hardest, as this will
be where the contamination starts. Be aware of
everything you touch, and wash everything in hot soapy
water. Stay home from work, schools, churches, meetings,
gatherings of any sorts, to help stop the spreading of the flu. |
Flu Remedies can be used in many forms such as:
Teapills, Herbal Teas, Liquids to Gargle, Advanced Formulas with
Herbs, Vitamins, and Antioxidants, or even in Homeopathic
form. The method you choose to use depends on you and the
supplements you are wanting to use. Are you using the
herbs as a preventive, or has the flu or cold already grabbed hold
in the body? Or are you one of the unlucky people who
get a cold then comes right back again, just when you think it is
over. et all the information you can
about the influenza virus.
"A vaccine against swine flu is not
likely to be ready before the first wave of an expected pandemic
hits," an expert has said.
Claire-Anne Siegrist, president of the Federal
Vaccination Commission, told a Saturday newspaper that the anti-
H1N1 infection jab would be available in October at the earliest.
"It is not too late, but it's after the first
pandemic flu wave which could occur in September," the Geneva
professor told the French-speaking Le Temps. Source:

As a side note, only because everyone has been
asking. I sent my family
in California the following items:
Jade Screen, Larch, Lavender essential oil, and Yarrow tea.
The reason I picked these is for ease of use, easy to swallow, and
most of all taste. As I am sure you well know, if it doesn't
taste good, then it won't be used.
