As a general rule, One pound of powder will use 700 capsules (size "00")
Cap-M-Quick Instructions - Fill 50 Empty Vegi or Gelatin Capsules in 4 easy steps:
1. Assemble the Unit - Start by placing the capsule holder on a large sheet of paper on top of a smooth table surface. Place the spacers under the end posts facing toward the center of the unit. Then set the capsule holder on the four corner posts - resting on the end spacers.
2. Load the Unit - Now separate your empty capsules and place the long side half of the empty capsules in the holes. The open top half of the capsule should site below the surface of the filling unit and the bottoms of the capsules should be touching the surface under the unit.
3. Fill the Capsules - Now poor the cut and sifted powder herbs or vitamins onto the unit and spread with an index card pushing down slightly going back and forth over the open capsules until they are full. It’s EASY! Remove excess carefully - it can be used on the next fill.
4. Cap the Capsules - Now rotate the end spacers so the unit drops down to the table surface - pushing up the lower half of the capsules. Then you can slip on the top half of the capsules and push each capsule top down gently until tight. You now have 50 full capsules.
