Why are Seaweed Baths so luxurious?
Seaweed has several properties, but the biggest
benefit is the rejuvenating effects from the toxins being released
from the tissues. The seaweed will not dehydrated the body.
but actually balance body chemistry. Other benefits of seaweed

Draw the bath to 1/2 full. Do not exceed 98
degrees Put the package seaweed into the tub and steep until
it softens and the water is cool enough to enter.
2. Make a strong infusion in a large pot on the
stove, simmering the seaweed for 10 - 15 minutes before straining
and adding to hot bathwater.
Soak in the deep bath, covering the body as much
as possible for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let hot water constantly
trickle into the tub to maintain the high temperature. Soak as long
as possible to give the body time to absorb the mineral properties.
(Rub the body with the seaweed solids during the bath for best
results.) If you become overheated or uncomfortable, sit on the edge
of the tub for 1 - 2 minutes.
Information on the seaweeds
Bladderwrack is high in
ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), protein, vitamin A, iodine, bromine and
phosphorus. Bladderwrack is used as a weight loss aid and for
thyroid stimulation. Bladderwrack is also a source of fucoidan, a
polysaccharide known to scavenge heavy metals and radioisotopes
throughout the body.
Organic Dulse and Sea Kelp are
intensely rich in minerals and trace elements. Kelp is highest in
iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and offers substantial amounts
of vitamin B’s. Phytochemicals in kelp have been shown to
absorb and eliminate radioactive elements and heavy metal
contaminants from our bodies, as well as reduce the onset, frequency
and size of tumors in laboratory experiments. These are essentials
to good health as they enable the body to absorb nutrients.
SPECIAL NOTE: An invigorating
loofah scrub before and during the bath will help to maximize the
many healthful benefits of your Hot Seaweed Bath. Do not use
if you have high blood pressure, or thyroid disease.
